St Anthony’s offers private or direct retreats for individuals and days of renewal for groups with hermitage accommodation on-site.

St Anthony’s is home to Fr Neal Carlin, spiritual director and founder of the Columba Community in nearby Derry City.

Catholic Retreats

The Retreat Centre is in the Roman Catholic tradition and specializes in retreats taken from Ignatian spirituality. If required, Fr Carlin is on hand to offer spiritual guidance and directed retreats.

According to Fr Carlin: “The primary reason for St Anthony’s is to give people an experience of a retreat, where they can get in touch with themselves and experience the Spirit of God within and the Spirit of God in nature. It’s an opportunity to get guidance for a more fulfilled and generous life.”
